We have completely redesigned our customer portal for you. If the steps described in the guide differ from what you see, you will find a PDF version of the old guide at the end of this article.
Change my plan or product
Not all switches are the same. For technical reasons, we distinguish between rate changes, technology changes, and product changes. The process varies depending on the type of change. We’ll discuss the differences below.
In addition, different terms apply to residential products than to business products. Due to increased requirements for connection flexibility, businesses can make most changes free of charge. For residential products, we generally charge a small processing fee for changes.
You can find any applicable fees in our price lists for home and business customers.
Which change would you like?
Changing plans
We refer to a "plan change" when the technology (e.g., VoIP, ADSL, VDSL) remains the same after the switch.
Technological change
If your internet connection is too slow, switching from ADSL to VDSL or fiber optics (FTTH) usually helps.
Product Change
Upgrading a VoIP phone line to a full-service line is a product change.
Request a rate plan change
Note: Please understand that we can only process plan changes at the beginning of the month.
You can request a plan change yourself in my.easybell—quickly and easily.
To do so, click on “Plan Management” at the bottom of the left-hand menu bar. You’ll see an overview of your active plans. Below that, you’ll find products and plan components that you can switch to or add.
Request a technology upgrade
To switch from ADSL to VDSL, please contact our customer service team. We will then review the connection options available at your location and enable the appropriate upgrade options in the customer portal.
If you want to switch to fiber optics (FTTH), please order a new fiber optic plan from us. Your phone numbers can then be easily ported from your old contract to the new one.
For more information, read “How to Switch from VDSL to Fiber Optics.”
Request a product change
To switch from a VoIP product to one that includes both internet and phone service, business customers can simply add the "Internet for Your Office" product in the rate plan management section (see above).
Residential customers must currently first order a complete service package. Once the connection has been successfully established, you can port your phone number(s) from the old connection to the new connection with Internet.
