At the beginning of the month, you will receive your digital invoice via email (see also “How and when do I receive my invoices?”)

If you are unsure which time periods individual invoice items refer to, the following breakdown may help:

Prepaid expenses (current month)

These costs are determined before the service is provided and are therefore billed at the beginning of the month. They include, among other things:

  • Basic fee for IP phone service
  • Fair Flats
  • Teams integration, Cloud PBX

In some cases, billing items may be prorated. For example, if you added or canceled products during the current month.

Retroactive charges (previous month)

These costs depend on your actual usage and are billed the following month. They include:

  • Telephone connection fees
  • Other usage-based services

As a result, your bill will always show a combination of fixed and usage-based costs—depending on when they are incurred.
