You can find out how to set up your answering machine step by step in our detailed instructions.

1. Access phone settings

Please go to my.easybell first.

Under "My data" → "Phone settings" you will find an overview of your SIP trunks under "Connections".

In the Overview of SIP trunks, please click on the trunk whose settings you want to adjust.

In the "Connection configurations" section, click on "Change".

A window will now open with numerous settings for this SIP trunk.

2. Access voicemail greetings

Here, you can set up your voicemail greetings. To do so, scroll down to the “Voicemail” section.

3. Select voicemail greeting

In this overview, you can either edit one of the standard greetings or add your own custom greeting.

You should also enter your contact details here to be notified of missed calls and to receive messages from callers.

3.1. Standard Greetings

You can choose between the “Standard Voicemail Greeting” and the “Standard Not Available Greeting.” Each phone number has these two standard greetings available.

Voicemail Greeting: Your phone number is announced, and the caller can leave a message.
Not Available Greeting: Your phone number is announced, but the caller cannot leave a message.

Click the pencil icon next to the respective option to set how you want to be notified of missed calls.

3.2. Create a Custom Greeting

To use a custom greeting, click “Add Greeting”.

Add Greeting

A new window will open. Here, you can give your greeting a name.

To add your custom greeting, upload your desired audio file in **MP3** or **WAV** format (max. 50 GB) in the designated field.

You can also choose whether the caller can leave a message and, if so, how and when you want to be notified.

Once you are satisfied with your settings, click “Confirm.” You will then be returned to the previous overview.

4. Save and complete settings

Click “Save” here to complete the entire process. Your new greeting is now saved. Next, you just need to configure a voicemail box with your greeting.
